of today’s protests. And thus ranking with those who brought in and condoned
slavery and submission. This slogan sadly excludes other groups that are
submitted to all kind of abuses and exclusion. I would prefer
The removal
of statues can give a relieve for emotion. It would give far more impact to
have plaquettes put on the pedestals and road signs describing the gori facts
of the depicted/mentioned person.
Hence to warn that what happened in the past should never be repeated.
Blot out history and it will repeat itself.
Time to raise statues of persons that really gave a positive addition to humanity, the few and far between…..
